TEN RITUALS FOR RADIANT LIVING

TEN RITUALS FOR RADIANT LIVING

From the book The man who sold his Ferrari – Robin Sarma

      1.   Ritual of solitude – Walk alone in natural surroundings at least for 15 min a day.

  1. Ritual of physicality – Practise yoga for at least 5 Hrs a week.

  1. Ritual of Nourishment – Take fresh fruits and vegetables to nourish your body.

  1. Ritual of abundant knowledge – Read something that will improve both you and the quality of your life. You must be selective about what you put into the lush garden of your mind.

  1. Ritual of personal reflection – List out all activities that are done on that day and also the thoughts we had run through the mind during that day. Figure out what is wrong and set about making immediate improvement.

  1. Ritual of early awakening – Quality of sleep and not the quantity of sleep is important. Never eat after 8.00 PM. Ten minutes before sleep and ten minutes after waking up are profoundly influential on our subconscious mind. Only the most inspiring and serene thoughts should be programmed into your mind at those times. Also get the happiness juices flowing from nature  early in the morning.

  1. Ritual of music – Listen to some soul filling music.

  1. Ritual of spoken word. Tell positive affirmations to yourself . Ex: “I am strong, able and calm. I am healthy, dynamic and fully alive”. “ I am more than I appear to be, all the world’s strength and power rests inside me”.

  1. Ritual of congruent character . Let us ensure that  all of our actions are congruent and aligned with the principles of industry, compassion, humility, patience, honesty and courage. Be guided by your heart. The rest will take care of itself. You are never alone.

  1. Ritual of simplicity – Be simple in all respects.

Time mastery is life mastery. Failing to plan is planning to fail.
